What was I thinking? Thought I’d try some experiments with some black stoneware clay that has been hanging around the studio for a few years. It’s been a challenging day to try and get used to a totally different behaving clay to the smooth, pliable porcelain I am so used to. My hands feel like they have had a very rough exfoliation with sandpaper and the studio is now covered in yucky, gritty, deep red clay. Safe to say the other 3 bags will stay hanging around for another few years.
